The big thing is when they are young they usually learn and pick up things faster than us older folk. Definitely a great idea to get the kids involved. They’ll end up being the future Tiger Woods! All the top golfers started when they were young.

Not only that but if they are using their own clubs it would allow them to grow accustomed to them and perfect their swing much more rapidly.

Thanks for the post, my wife has always just played golf with my old clubs and she has done just fine, but then again she is pretty tall compared to the average. Seems like great information for almost anyone who wants to buy women golf clubs.

Great post! I was just going to wait to introduce my kid to playing golf when he grew into my old clubs, but your post convinced me to go out and buy him his own set. Like Steve said, it’s really important to get them introduced when they’re young.

Hey, I really love your post. I wish to say that, for both starters and even those who had been playing golf for quite some time, learning how to play and how to improve your game should always be of great importance to you. Just like any other game, the best is always yet to come in every game.

Often, the best games are said to be a product of both learning the fundamentals of the game while at the same time combining it with practice.

I need not say this again but we all know that practice makes one perfect – just like any endeavor, practicing will help you improve on what you are doing. Once you learn how to play golf, you will get many opportunities to network, meet new people, and get plenty of exercise as well.

Personally, while I do understand that it’s best to get kids into the game while they’re young, it’s incredibly wasteful to go out and buy a really nice set for your kid. It’s probably best to nurture them into it slowly, because kid’s these days change their interests seemingly overnight.

It’d be a shame to end up with some high end children golf clubs in the corner of your garage collecting dust!

I think adjustable golf clubs are the right way to go when buying for children. Because they are going to be growing and you don’t want to continually buy new clubs every time they grow, getting adjustable clubs allows for you to adjust your clubs to your children’s needs while saving some money as well.

Ping are a great range of golf clubs, they are not that cheap thou from what I know, I spent £3000 on a full set of clubs they have lasted me years and I have won many competitions with them the best golf clubs money can buy I SWEAR !!!

When I first started playing, I too didn’t want to spend so much on a set. At that time, I just didn’t know how long my interest would last or whether I have the time for it, so I settled on a discounted set. It didn’t feel much different from a premium expensive set, but perhaps, I’m just a novice. I think if you are only just starting out and ain’t sure if it is something you would want to continue over the long term, then a discounted set works just as well.
